Appeal for Sponsorship
We urgently require sponsors for the children who are seeking a place in Tong-Len’s new hostel, to cover their educational and living costs. For the price of a cup of coffee a week (£2.50), it is possible to give a child who has known nothing but hunger and hardship the chance not only of an education but also the opportunity to experience the joys of childhood that would otherwise be denied.
30 or more Children are now living in safety in the Tong-Len hostels, but some still require sponsors. They are not only attending a top school full time but are excelling in all their studies. All are in the top quartile of their respective classes, and several have had advanced promotion to higher classes.
