in Water bills
We used to be using £16 water a mth now we use £52 a mth of water since having my daughter. Our consumption hasnt gone up that much surely.
Ok we have an extra 2 loads of washing a week but not much else has changed.
Accoring to our lates bill our average daily usage is 0.37 cubic metres, for a family of 3. does anyone know if this sounds about right?

For 3 people the average annual consumption should be between 150 and 180 cubic meters, so yours at 135 cu mtrs is a little below average.
However prices vary across the UK by a great deal, and sometimes on the type of house and surface water drainage charges.
SW England have the highest charges.
However as discussed in another thread your rise from £15 to £52 is probably because £15 was too low and you built up a debit balance.0 -
