Ebay Seller Wants To Relist My Won Item For More Money??
Comments

Thanks for naming him, he sounds like a complete chancer (being polite!) I agree with everyone else, he is breaking the ebay rules to sell 'outside' and I'm sure there is something in the rules about trying to sell for higher than the amount won, after all they get a % don't they? I'm sure they won't be happy! It is an auction after all. He deserves to be kicked off. Whatever happens, I wouldn't buy the stuff off him now if I wasn't obligated too, I wouldn't want to line his pockets.0

I see the seller managed to reply back

I would also complain about the feedback he left you, the p**ck.
My rule, never buy from someone with no feedback0 -
lol maybe we should all start spamming his mobile number.....
HeHe!0 -
weird he would let it go for 130.00 but not accept 129.00
he then has bidder 4 who is an obvious scammer which was withdrawn and bidder 6 and he admits he will deal outside ebay :T NUMPTY!
let's hope they don't turn up or try haggling so he has to relist:rotfl:
he will get what he deserves in the end:D

If I were the buyer in this case, I'd have replied to the feedback left by the seller with something like:
"Read seller's comment for the bid retraction from Bidder 6 on this auction. Says it all"
Or words to that effect. The bid retraction comment really does show that the seller is a complete lying cheesey knobend. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

If the sellers feedback is now -1 then that suggests to me this phone was his first sale.I know everyone has to start somewhere but I would not contemplate bidding on or buying a high value item from someone without decent feedback..0

If you search for item 250248866819 you can see peterm5570 actually bid on & won (for £135) the same phone from seller maidmentlufc on the 17th May. Strangely, the one he sold to the OP ended on the 16th. However, the listing for peterm5570 and maidmentlufc are both the same and contain the same mobile number. Both are also pick up only from Bradford area. What's even more intriguing is that maidmentlufc has now relisted the phone, citing non payment from peterm5570.0

When I first saw this bidding, I assumed bidder 6 was a shill bidding account anyway.
Look at the evidence.
16-May-08 17:08:11 BST, the OP made a bid
(max bid placed was £129.00, but would only have shown £122.00 beating bidder 5 using auto bidding increments)
16-May-08 17:33:51 BST, bidder 6 placed bid for £131.00
(making this the winning bid, and disclosing the OP's maximum bid amount of £129.00)
16-May-08 17:36:50 BST, bidder 6 bid cancelled
16-May-08 17:38:28 BST, bidder 6 placed a revised bid of £129.00
(now knowing this would not beat the OP's bid, but would force the OP to pay £7.00 more than if bidder 6 had not bid)"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Another account operated by the same scam artist is user cm372
Has managed to attract 2 negs in a total of 12 transactions, and that includes 2 positives from, would you believe, peterm5570, (item# 120246492790) and maidmentlufc (item# 120249619185)
Amazing how all 3 accounts have the same mobile phone contact number, eh?"Now to trolling as a concept. ....
