I'd take the money. It's better than them actually pretending that they still want it - than finding fault with it once they get to look at it, and want to return it, etc.

This has happened to me a few days ago (with a £65 item ). No apology, no offer of compensation either.......just 'changed their mind'.

I think this will happen a lot now that you can't leave buyers Neg or Neutral feedback.

But you can (and should) still file a NPB report.

The problem with leaving negative feedback is that all it tells you is that the winner of an item may not pay for it ... but then you'll quickly discover that yourself.

The advantage of a NPB strike is that after doing this a couple of times, the bidder will not be able to bid on any more items because their account will be suspended ... (until they create a nice, fresh new account and start again)

Yep, that's exactly what i will be doing.

It doesn't make me feel any better about not getting my £65 though.:(

I sold an item, they asked for my address to collect it as it was a delicate item, paid thru paypal, arranged to come, then 2 or 3 weeks later they left positive feedback after numerous emails from me asking where they were. They then said they didnt want the item and to keep the money.
