Halifax ISA Saver Direct

I'm about to transfer my IF ISA to the Halifax ISA Saver Direct account. I understand that you can only do business on this account over the phone or internet.

I don't have any other accounts with the Halifax and their advisor stated that I may have to open an additional account with them to use to transfer money from the Halifax ISA. I really can't be bothered with another account though purely for this purpose.

Couldn't I simply link the Halifax ISA to my RBS current account and transfer money this way via the internet if I need to make withdrawals?

You can transfer via BACS on Halifax Online to any other UK bank account but it takes 3 working days. You can also do it from your bank to the Halifax ISA.
When you say you have an RBS account do you mean RBS which are owners of Natwest or BOS which are Partners with Halifax?
