Suppose if it's not an automatic depending on the design you may be able to manipulate the gear linkage underneath to knock it out of gear without breaking a window

I don't really see how you'd move a car with a trolley jack? OK you can lift it but then you've got to drag the jack along somehow

I didn't know NCP could issue a ticket on a Public road. I thought it was the local authority controlled wardens or police that could do that.

You got any local 'chav' lager louts living near you?
Im sure if you slip one of them a tenner or a 4 pack of lager he will put a brick through the car window.

You could stick a polite letter on the window saying "please park in the correct numbered bay". Stick in on with wallpaper paste, they'll never ever get it off again. Wallpaper paste is the most adhesive stuff (you can buy from normal shops) when put on car windscreens.

Believe me it is very, very easy to move one end of a car at atime on a trolley jack:money:
Handbrake, FWD, RWD or otherwise;)
