MSN Problems...Can you Help??

Guys, hope you can help with my MSN. It will not open so i can chat or anything... Have tried downloading time and time again and just does not open. To check my hotmail email, i have to go to hotmail.com and sign in that way, but it doesnt let me chat to mates online. Any suggestions?

Thanks it works, slow but it works, so how come this is working and the other method wont? Oh and i am using XP. Thanks again!

yeah i am, tho dont even ask me to log on like that... im worse than a beginner, the word stupid springs to mind

admin user just gives you the rights to install stuff, thought it might be the problem
