Disgruntled Viewer about free SMS
I have watched "it pays to watch" since it started to air. I really like the programme. A few weeks ago Martin said you could send free texts from a computer to a phone. I followed his steps and it worked! But the site i used gets busy so in his free texts article he recommended a few extra sites. However, i was conned. I initially clicked on a site called "fonetastic" and from then the "free SMS" button which lead me to another site. Here it said "Free SMS from computer to Phone". So i followed the link to the website and followed the instructions. What i did'nt realise was that i had acidentally signed up to a subscription service charging me £4.50 a week. I had been conned. When i realised what had happened i immediatley terminated subscription. But that did leave me with some money done the drain. I live on a budget so this hit me kind of hard. I wrote an email of complaint this morning saying i was misled but they have'nt replied. Should i pursue this? Or am i just getting blood from a stone?
