Abbey 8% ISA

Hello, the advisor in ABbey National said that they will give me 8% on an cash ISA and they will accept transfers in!

Where's the catch?

They don't currently appear to offer an 8% Cash ISA - see HERE, most of their 'high interest' ISA offerings are usually conditional upon a similar amount being paid into a pretty awful (IMHO) 'guaranteed growth plan'.

Suggest that you read the small print VERY carefully.

Can you recommend an ISA which will accept transfers in with a good rate?

Only getting 4.something on my Barclays but the tax beater wouldn't accept transfers & I'm sure I can do better than that:p

Not personally, but have a look through this post - scroll down to see fixed rate & variable rate ISAs which accept inward transfers (but check rates, in case the list isn't fully up-to-date).
