Orange Is So Annoying Me!!!!!!!

Sorry for the rant but I am so angry with them.

I am currently on a good price plan with orange where if I top up a tenner I get 300 texts, top up twenty I get 500 texts and free internet browsing and thirty I get unlimited texts.

So what is the problem?

Such tempting price plans, but what good are they if you cannot use them? The problems have happened for a while. Orange says that their computer systems have had problems and cannot send the extras I get. I topped up twenty pounds this week so I should get 500 texts and free internet browsing. But I have nothing. I have called Orange operators twice and still no help. It is getting annoying, beacause for weeks its always "a problem with one of our systems". Worse still, I cannot even access internet on my phone at all. My phone is Nokia N73, which is good for internet, superb, but the internet wasn't working. My gut instinct was to check if I was connecting properly, the phone was originally on O2 but had orange connections. So I called them up to ask what happened and probably needed new settings, now they say that internet is affected too when previously it wasn't the internet still worked while this happened and now it doesn't. The third nail on the coffin is that I can't even buy extras due to the computer system, I would sometimes buy 1 day browsing internet and now I can't even do that.

I used to like Orange and also their 15p set rate. I was on this plan previously but switched to o2 for my new phone. Couldn't stand the 25p for first three minutes, because I make lots of calls for three minutes or less, so I switched to Orange taking my number with me. I had to leave O2 because their plan suited me, but I regret going to Orange again. Therefore I am thinking of leaving Orange but what tariff is good? Orange and O2 are off my potential list.

hi, i'm on the same plan as you and i've never had any problems with it, have you checked that the multimedia is enabled on you're sim card, you have to ring orange to do that, and they can send you all the settings as well, as for the texts, if you top up the first month, you don't get them until the next month, so you have to top up every month to always get them, hope this helps
wins so far:- absolutely nothing, not even an arguement:mad:

dont talk to me about orange! i was on dolphin 35 for 18 months so when i was due for my upgrade he made me sign a new contract on dolphin 35 again no problem but then i wanted to change my price plan after 4 months because i was trying to save money so i got downgraded to racoon25 even though i dont ring anyone and send quite alot of txts, last month my bill was £40 i thought great i've saved £25

The other day i got my bill £140!!!!!! i was like no this cant be right! it was for some reason the bloke put me on racoon25 instead of dolphin25 and thats why my bill was like that. And for some odd reason i was getting charged £5 every month for orange world even though i dont know what is it and i never asked for it!

So as you can imagine im pretty peeved with orange right now!

I'm on orange and the future is definately not bright. I have 5 or so dropped calls a day, with fluctuating call quality during the calls for the past 6 months. The network performance promise means that I should be credited for these calls, yet even though it is mostly mobile calls which are dropped, I am always credited with landline minutes and usually this is less than the minutes I should be getting (apparently they credit 1 minute for each dropped call). They've done sweet FA since I have been complaining to them and usually get passed between technical support and customer services. They say the signal in my area is fine according to their coverage map, yet all my bills show dropped call credit.

    Useless.
