So, the first day and we can immadiately point out to the pinks that they were wrong. However, I can imagine that their answer will be that as this buyer can be reported for malicious feedback and probably suspended it will all be OK in the long run.
But as I said, the buyer has zero feedback and could do it anyway. My fear all along though is that while those poor sellers wait to get this buyer suspended they may well have already triggered the 'bottom 5% of sellers ' rule and been temporarily suspended.
Obviously the number of negative feedbacks will increase. But that will apply to everybody. 100% is no longer realistic.0 -
What a bloody tit. (to the buyer who left all the negs!)0

Under the old system though at least those sellers could leave negs on the buyers account which would be enough to stop him/her ruining it for other sellers until she gets struck off. I have my seller preferences set to exlude those buyers with overall negative feedback, luckily this buyer would still get caught by my seller settings but it is only because one seller has been able to leave a neg even after the changes.
I still have concerns that someone could deliberately target a seller and ruin them using the bottom 5% of sellers rule.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Ebay should have a way of being alerted to buyers who leave over a certain amount of negs/neutrals, look into any malicious actions and boot them off if unjustified!0
