Cashback- Carphonewarehouse, Problems?
Maybe i'm just being unlucky but my last two cash back claims have been a lot of trouble, i keep having to chase them. My last one is supposed to be 'automatic' within 28days(£3.99 deal, nokia6630 deal) but when i called up they knew nothing about it and tried fobbing me off. They then asked me to send in a copy of the contract which i refused, telling them the deal was freely available to view on their website. Anyone else struggling?

sounds very strange, ive never had problems with cpw and in fact nothing but praise for them. Do you have the original documentation when you received the phone? also did u take a print out of the original offer online? usually i take a pdf of the page just in case something like this happens.ummm...0

cpw was simple for me too, i rang for a claim form and then send it back with the bill and got the cashback within 10 days0

they also "bounced" one of my cashback cheques this week.
Received it back from the Bank yesterday as "Cancelled - Stop Issued"
Haven't managed to get through to the right person yet at CPW to discuss the reasons for this0 -
I've had a problem with the cheques sent to me by CPW, when I got the first cheque I put it in the bank and waited for it clear, then I got another through the post for the same amount. I thought I'd wait to see what happens with the first cheque, it was returned as payment stopped, so I deposited the second cheque which has also since been returned as payment stopped.
I called them today on 0870 168 0870 and went through and spoke to someone on the cashback option, she told me they had problems with their cheque printing machine, so they have had to cancel both cheques and have printed another one and it should be on its way.Nearly debt free
