txt party

some one put my daughters phone number into this site which is run from Southern Ireland....they sent a text which she ignored as she didnt think it was anything to do with her as she didnt subscribe...a few days later a text arrived with an web address and for that its £4.50 on week 1 then only days later they took another £.50
now on their website they clearly state
"Txt Party is a weekly subscription service with an introductory first download and SMS allowance at no extra cost when you join for £4.50 per week until you send STOP to 88844. As a member you have up to 9 downloads and unlimited PC to mobile SMS each week. You can also choose any content YOU want to download. You must be 16+ years of age or have bill payers permission, standard operator SMS (sent by the user) and WAP/GPRS charges apply."
my daughter is UNDER 16
im the bill payer and needless to say i didnt give my permission as i knew nothing about this untill i got a text off the phone company which is virgin

how do i get my money back
my daughter cant enter into a contract as shes under 16 and i didnt

this lot dont phone as for any more details than your phone number...its that easy

im a single mum with 2 kids one of whom is disabled i cant afford to loose this money

the customer care lol said some one from refunds will phone you back well surprise surpirse no one has...all i get now is a phone message stating we're busy after i tap in her phone number its like they have blocked my calls:mad:

i have sent an email to which they replied stating not alot
any advice would be much appreciated

    they took another £4.50 so thats £9.00 for NOTHING
    talk about daylight robbery!:mad: !!!!!

    http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/ make a complaint and you'll probably get your money back... eventually.

    who in gods name is monitoring these muppets???????
