Just a quick note to say that for once I checked my call1899 statement today and was sorry to see that I was charged 10ppm for a call to a uk landline.
It pays to check.
It pays to check.

I had something like that on 18866 a few months ago. But there was also a 'credit' transaction almost immediately afterwards to correct the error.0

I raised a ticket with customer services a few days ago but no reply. I am not happy with the lack of response and will get very vocal about this is they don't buck their ideas up.0

I am pleased to say that I did eventually get a reopnse from 1899 and a credit was promised which is good but they didn't confirm that their billing system would be rectified.
I am having second thoughts though about having a direct debit to my credit card with a company who don't publish a phone number or an office address.0 -
How do you expect them to be as cheap as they are AND man telephone lines?0

When do you get a invoce for 1899, when I first signed up I got two invoices within a couple of weeks. But I have my current log running from 12/8 till now and they have not invoiced me yet and the bill is £5.57?0

Hi FayRaz, i had a similar issue with 18866. E~mailed them & they responded, saying that to keep costs low, they wouldn't bill a person until the costs were £6.00 or above & this bill would be actioned around the end of the month.fayraz wrote:When do you get a invoce for 1899, when I first signed up I got two invoices within a couple of weeks. Hope this helps.0 -
So is there a contact number for 1899 & 18866? Does one exist?

No there isn't a phone number, you can only email them.0

Problem is that when I registered with 1899 I gave them a CC number that has expired now. I was using 18866 until the price rise. I cannot change my payment details on 1899 for some reason as it comes coming up with error and now they have blocked both my 1899 and 18866 accounts for an outstanding balance on 1899 of £1.62.
20 emails later and still no resolution.
What i nightmare...!!!!!!!
Can anyone help?

Been 4 months now, had plenty of promises from them but still no refund. They now ignore my emails. I am not impressed. I think it is a false economy to use this company. If they make a mistake and choose to ignore you there is not much you can do to get your money back.
I think I'll stick to dealing with UK companies that provide a telephone number and postal address, not one that hides behind email.
As someone who has recommended call1866/1899 etc to loads of family and friends, I am now making a concerted effort to let them know of my experience.0
