Abbey Direct ISA - Partial Transfer out

Hi all

Has anyone who has a Direct ISA with Abbey successfully transferred part of it to another provider or does it have to be all or nothing?

Thanks

Yes, I made a partial transfer of £25k from Abbey to Icesave in February 2008.

    Thanks for that

I've got just over 12k with Abbey at the moment and I've requested to transfer 9,500 to the Lloyds 1 year fixed rate. I didn't want to tie the whole 12k into Lloyds for 12 months so that's why I went for a partial transfer. It wasn't till later I suddenly wondered whether Abbey would allow it.
