Hi, i am seriously looking for a good deal on full gas central heating.
I have a 3 bed semi in Wisbech Cambridgeshire and was quoted £6200 from british gas for a boiler, 8 radiators and piping. I simply cant afford this - its this reasonable though???
I considered them as i know they offer a payment plan but im sure it should be cheaper than this - surely!
Please Help!!!

I think with a independant you are probably looking at the £3500 to £4500 mark.
Does the payment plan tie you into using BG as your supplier?

I have a poll / discussion on Economy 7 / 10 off-peak usage (as a % or total) and ways to improve it but I'm not allowed to link to it so have a look on the gas/elec forum if you would like to vote or discuss.:cool:0 -
i dont think it does but to be honest i didnt ask the question. do you think it would be cheaper for me to get the bits and pieces and then get a plumber in to install it? cheers0

Almost definitely a resounding YES
perhaps canucklehead will be on later. Their other half is a heating engineer and are usually very good ad advising on these kinds of questions
