  • I've noticed that there is two ends of the scale. Either they are very intelligent and knowlegable or the complete other end of the scale. Doesn't seem to be a happy medium. Yet they are still the most powerful country in the world - must be doing somethign right.

heh, i had a neg from one a couple of weeks ago
"wanted more than stated for postage",

well, duh, uk postage was stated :-), the extra 2000 miles to USA dont come free ya know!

left him a polite neg with his full name and address in (got me a nice telling off from ebay!) AND filled a non paying bidder, got him NARU'd for two weeks too ;-)
    money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

  • I was selling an e-book a while back and about 5 americans bought it, 2 of them emailed me saying that their book hadnt arrived, the other 2 bombarded me with ridiculous questions. One was fine, so its obviously not all, just 80% :P
  • with me american Aim buddys when ever i hit the "£" button they aways say "what is that ..how did u get that small sign there... i havnt got it on my key/b" which is always kinda funny,.

I was wondering if they get stoopid dumb !!!!!! brits buying from them..... It would work in our favour the exchange rate,so it would have to be people buying stuff "only available to USA". Lets face it we have our fair share of stoopid people too.

If you think E-bay's bad regarding Americans, you wanna try and go on their ESPN tennis site. If you don't support the William Sisters then you are accused of being racist and not liking black people etc. If you just say that your fave player is so and so, they immediately reply back saying "you racist dumb ....... etc, etc!

It's absolutely awful there. Obviously I was only there for 2 mins!!

    They are crazy people!

Its really silly (but not as bad as the Nigaria scammers Grrr  ), I wouldn't buy from e-bay.com and expect to pay in pounds... Doesn't the .co.uk give them a clue
I remember when this was just a little website! :money:

That doesn't mean a thing, the power comes from money and resources. The power comes from cheating people out of Oil etc You do not have to be intelligent to live in a powerful country
