Parking in Birmingham for Girls Alound at NIA on Friday 23rd

  • It can take well over an hour to get out of the car park after the concert especially if you are on a high floor. It could be worth using the blue badge to street park a little way away from the arena if your sister can walk that far.

It is pretty easy to park on the side streets off Broad Street (the ones on the other side to the NIA). Meters are free in the evening. You can walk to the NIA from anywhere in the city centre, so you can park anywhere really. We live in Birmingham and last time I went to the NIA I parked in the multistorey next door. It was quite cheap.
If you don't like driving in cities, Selly Oak station has free parking and it is £1.70 return for an adult on the train to New Street. Takes about 8 mins. If you are coming from Wales you will pass Selly Oak when you come off the M5. It is about 3 miles from the city centre on the A38.

Edit sorry I didn't realise your sister was disabled. In that case you should have no probs parking on the street with the blue badge near by.
