If O2 coverage isn't the problem, Tesco mobile give you £5 credit for porting a number to them.

There also seem to be a number of deals on their SIM cards about at present. They use the O2 network as their backbone.

Great, thanks.
Once I leave 02 is it possible for them to allocate a new number to the now worthless o2 sim cards?
Any other deals? Think 3 had one going once?0 -
It is technically possible to reallocate a new number to the old SIM card. However, there doesn't seem much point and I can't see a network that you have just left doing it.Once I leave 02 is it possible for them to allocate a new number to the now worthless o2 sim cards?
Networks can't/won't allocate numbers to SIM cards provided by a different provider.
