We're going to Sherwood on 13th June.
last year I paid for hubby & son to have the bird of prey experience, it was an hour and they had an amazing time because there were only 8 kids allowed so each child had lots of interaction with the birds and their handler so the quality of the activity was fantastic!
While they were doing that I took my daughter on the 1 hour pony trek She's 5 and LOVED the little pony she was on.
I walked with her all the way and we chatted, she was so proud that she'd ridden it all alone!
I wouldn't book a lot of activities as it does get expensive but i felt these 2 were very good.
This time I've booked field archery for hubby & son and messy play for me and the ikkle pink one.
Oh and a lovely spa treatment for me, that was FAB last year!!!!!!

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0
