with the complexity off modern boilers a boiler technician is the best person to diagnose the problems , if i where you i would get a glow worm engineer to gall as has been said .0

Thanks for your help on this chaps.
The British Gas engineer's been looking at the boiler over the last few days - as I couldn't afford to pay the other guy any more, I called BG and they said they'd put me on a normal plan with a slightly increased fee due to it already being broken. Anyway, the engineer replaced the circuit board today and now it needs a new burner - ever efficiently, BG will replace this tomorrow!
Just out of interest, does anybody here know how much a gas valve, CB and a burner would cost if I were to get it done with a normal independent engineer?
