Vodafone PAYG price plans
Does anyone know of a website where you can compare Vodafone PAYG priceplans side-by-side. The Vodafone site only lists current price plans (ie Smartplus and Smartstep) and I've currently got one phone on Allcalls and another on Firststep. The Vodafone site tells you to call one of their advisers for details of older price plans but I was looking for somewhere that provides an unbiased comparison and lists the pros and cons of each.
I'm considering switching to Smartplus so I can take advantage of "Vodafone Stop The Clock" but I want to make sure it's the right decision as I'm pretty sure I won't be able to switch back to an "old" (no longer available) tariff (ie Allcalls / Firststep).
I'm aware that companies sometimes bring in new tariffs which appear to be similar to the ones they replace but contain less favourable terms somewhere in the small print. Does anyone know if there is any disadvantage of switching to the new tariffs (ie do the old tariffs convey any benefits over the newer tariffs)

Haven't got one to hand, but the monthly brochure, from Carphonewarehouse, lists price comparison in the last few pages.
wonder if they have similar, on https://www.carphonewarehouse.co.uk

The CPW brochure also only lists the current tariffs (smartplus / smartstep) and not the older tariffs as they are not available to new customers.
As far as I can see, the smartplus tariff is a similar structure to "allcalls" but slightly cheaper. The only disadvantage of switching to smartplus is the one-off £5 fee which Vodafone charges, but this should be quickly recovered due to the slightly lower call charges with smartplus, and especially if you take advantage of "stop the clock".0 -
