Cool thread. We are going to get dh driving lessons and eventually a car for us- not an old banger but a £2k sort of price range!- We are saving for that already! Wea re also goig on 1 big holiday every 2 years and a small holiday inbetween years if that makes sense? We've family in new zealand, usa and cambodia and we want to be able to go and stay with them.
Our main aim is to have savings. Money in the bank is like a dream! And a house deposit. A better life for our family is our main aim, always!
It's great to be able to vocalise this! (Sort of...)

Just looking at last minute hols on the net.

I can justify the holiday, because I have not had any time off in 2 years!!!! I have temped, and rather than take holiday, I moved agencies and got paid the accrued holiday.

At the moment, I am so stressed out, so roll on 22nd September 2008 (I have 2 weeks in my diary from then marked as holiday :j there are lots of stars around the entry :j

BTW the 'body holiday' sounds great ~ will have to start planning it!

Well for me would have to be new clothes  In the three years since we started DWD aprt form a few tshirts in summer I could not bring myself to waste money onn clothes.

I go into shops looke at them then say " no you cannot afford that , what you have will do " I have not even got any new shoes in last 3 years apart from a pair of sandels last year.

So I would take a few £ and go to my favourite shop and buy myself new clothes and shows without feelng guilty about it :rotfl:

p.s. then I would go on holidat lol although even with DWD we have still managed to save and have our holiday but would enjoy this on more.
    TOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T
