Just phoned up for the Marie Claire offer. Didn't think anyone would still be working there at 7.30pm...but all went through smoothly and the Aveda gift was mentioned after I gave the code.

    Thanks Martin...! :money:

The GF had a leaflet about the Marie Claire offer in the mag when she got it last month... she was going to go for it until I read the T&C's

"If you cancel your subscription within the first year, we reserve the right to charge your debit card for the cost of the free gift" (or something to that effect).

They quote the free gift as being worth "£46" (year right) so I wasn't about to let her risk it....

Ok if you intend to keep it for the year though!

I ordered the Elle magazine with the free lacoste perfume, before the update of the terms and conditions.
Does that mean I have to subscribe for a full year, even though, when I ordered, this wasn't the case?

the confirmation email did say the contract term is 6 months, so it is 6 pounds for 6 months offer.

not sure if I will get the free gift though, but the mag itself is well worth 1 pound each, I think.

  • Hi
    It's really easy.
Having signed up to a few of these I know that if you call you quote the code but if you sign up online the code is in the text or URL so you just follow the links.

I also found this great offer on Instyle.co.uk; 6 Issues for £6!

It usually costs me £3.40 when I buy it in the Shop.

Here's the link so you can take advantage like I have!

    Enjoy!:j

Me too gingerchick! I signed up by direct debit and it said (in T&Cs when I ordered) you can cancel it at anytime with your bank, so I intend to as soon as the first (£6) payment comes off! It does say in my order history (on magazine-group.co.uk who I signed up through) that the period of subscription is 6 issues?
  • Does anyone know of any offers available to men?
