Great news on the job, must be very reassuring and it will help with the planning too.0 -
Our cheque for the freezer arrived yesterday so will be banking that later, need to go and pick up the rent from our BTL this pm and bank that. Still waiting on my survey cheque of £60, but should have that in the next few days.
Also building up a nice sum on Quidco, both from Christmas Presents and stuff DH needed to buy for the business.
I spent last night plowing through Ciao surveys completing the load that were on there, so should get a few £'s from them which i can cash in soon as already at the pay out level, just want to wait for the ones I completed tonight to payout.
I also have around £5-10 coming from my Play.com account at the end of the month.
I've got just over £17 in a greasypalm account which I have never redeemed, so just need to work out how I'm going to make this up the £25 redeem levela nd then claim it and close the account.
We have a load of old mobile phones floating aorund the house as well, over the weekend my mission is to find the best prices for those and get them sent off to claim that money.
We also need to have a good clear out of our bedroom and ensuite (I have a load of cosmetic products that have bearly been used and I could probably flog) as MIL will be using our ensuite for the next few weeks from next week as we have a walk in shower and she is having a hip replacement on Tuesday so won't be able to shower at home. She will need somewhere to leave her stuff and our ensuite looks a bomb as hit it there are so many bottles and tubes in there.
Not sure where else I can raid for extra cash over the next month, but I need to find £283 before the year end to meet this years target. Know I can do it, just need that extra push. Have loads of stuff to ebay just need to motivation and time.0 -
Fantastic progress WL you'll definitely make your target.
r.e. ebay items why not set yourself a target to list a few each day.0 -

Time is one thing none of us here can make appear despite our MFW ways!
I'm behind on a number of things and not feeling great today so now more things haven't been completed..
Hope your evening achieves good progress.0 -
Hi WL
I would encourage you with ebay for your cosmetics, toiletries etc. I once listed some Christian Dior "Dune" talc- never used it, my Mum passed it on to me as she didn't use it...listed at 99p, sold for about £7. Yay!
As a "mortgage paid off once already" person (who has now taken out another;)), I'm not yet in a position to really go for it on the overpayment front- I need to get this house renovated first, but I am with you in spirit, and have taken inspiration from so many of you- Financial Bliss, Stuart GMC, Tall Girl, SMF2 and all the other diarists. I am making little payments over my mortgage repayment- when the interest rate drops (hooray for my tracker) my payments stay the same- plus other little drops in the ocean. Can't wait for my mortgage statement, due this month, to see where I'm up to as this year has been the start of of a more concerted effort. I'm with the Chesham, so no sophisticated on-line statements for me.Won Mulberry Bag Jan 090 -
Well have managed to list the big things on Ebay (TV and coffee table) but that money will be going into savings for next years holiday. TV has already met reserve and has 3 days to run.
Didn't really get very far sorting out the ensuite as had forgotten that it was my nephews 1st birthday party on Sunday (when I planned to sort them out) and we ended helping organise all morning. But will try and do that this week some time as MIL will be in hospital until the end of the week (even if i just box them up for the time being)
Tonight/tomorrow night I will be digging out those mobiles I know I have stashed away and sending them off.
Rent collected, still waiting for the survey cheque.
This coming weekend we will need to clear out the kitchen as we are having our new kitchen fitted a week Wednesday, hob should be arriving this Wed so the granite for the worktop can be cut before next Wednesday, oven will be here by Friday. Only thing left to get then is the floor tiles (although we have decided which ones) and the paint and ceiling lights.
I also need to dig out and write my christmas cards so i can get them in the scout post (saving a few pennies there) which goes the first week in Dec.0 -
Exciting about new kitchen, just in time to cook a feast for :xmassmile:xmastree::snow_grin0

No chance, we're off to the in laws. Although DH will be doing the cooking there are MIL will still be incapacitated from the hip replacement.
Dh and I always end up rowing when he cooks for family at our house.0 -
I've just sent £11 OP to the mortgage from the Mystery Shop I did recently. So I'm 74% of the way to my target, I'm still waiting for the £60 from the other survey I did recently to arrive, It was supposed to be here by today, but nothing so will be chasing that up later.
Some of the stuff I listed on ebay this weekend is selling really well, the table on the otehr hand only has one bid, but still just over a day to go so will hopefully get a mad rush in the last few hours. I've got a reserve of £100 on it so will hopefully make that.0
