Well that didn't go too well, phoned the 3rd CM and she was downright rude to me....!!!!!! have I done?!! Blooming heck!

Ok now need to decided what to do. I have NO childcare for after school for the rest of the term. Do I:

Take ds2 to a different school around 4 miles away and the opposite way to my work. They have school and afterschool places. Don't really like this option as he's just started his new school. However the school is lovely and I wish I had looked into it more before we moved here.

Negotiate with my work and work my hours over 5 days just until 3rd July. Very tricky one but if there is an end date they might go for it. After school places are re allocated every year and there is a very good chance we may get one in Sept.
Hi themaccas, just seen your post. I'd ask work first. My kids before and asc gets full too, but places do become available after may half term, cos the yr6 kids tend to leave, so they have a few weeks of getting used to making their own way to/from school on own (no childcare provision for yr7+ here). So I'd keep your name on list. Is it also worth asking any private nurseries if they do before/after school pick ups, as we have a couple here doing that too. Is your eldest about to leave school, could he help you out odd times?

Would you feel comfortable putting a sign up in the school class window? perhaps one of his friend's Mums would be happy to take them home together and give him tea if the kids got on well, you could certainly come to a financial agreement that may suit you both!

    *UPDATE ON SON SITUATION*

Well I said I wasn't cross but I wanted him to be honest with me and asked him if he'd taken the coins from the £2 tin. He admitted straight away that he did.
I said that I was disappointed that he'd done that but I am REALLY proud of him for telling he truth and gave him a big hug.
I explained I'm saving the £2 coins so that we can all have a really nice time on holiday and that he was stealing from himself and us.
I'm typing this with teary eyes because I'm so proud that he actually owned up straightaway about it and said that he can't find them at he moment but please would I take it out of his pocket money.sad-smiley-17025.gif
I then changed the subject to how he's doing well in his SATS because I don't want to go on about the money, I know he won't do it again. The matter is now closed and won't be mentioned again.
    He's such a treasure!
