unlocked mobile now won't work!

I took my nokia 6233 to a shop to get it unlocked today (cost £18) so I can use a different sim card abroad, as per Martin's tip. It is unlocked but now with both the old and new sim card it can receive calls but the key pad is dead and I can't make calls out, send texts etc!! Any ideas?

sounds like when they unlocked it, they didnt connect the keypad to the main board properly0
