Lol at John at the moment... dumb idiot MEWing to live beyond his means..
Double whammy... wait for it.. he was an estate agent... so was made redudant..... even with this he just went to carribean... lol... he needs some financial intellect..
I hope he gets repossessed lol... and i dont mean to sound vicious but... seriously he was plain stupid happy living off free money... lol
Now he paying more for his overpriced negative equity house... ahhh bitter justice... ahhh0 -
My favourite is the guy who reckons cos he earns 50 grand, lenders should be falling over themselves to lend to him. Let alone the fact that he wants a £185k house but only has £10k "in the bank". Are we to take it this includes fees/stamp duty?
If his earnings are as wonderful as he makes out then he could surely have saved a deposit??0 -
Yea... i was like "!!!!!!... you earn 50k but can't scrape a 5% deposit".... you couldn't write this stuff lol.
Also when the recession hits his income will most likely drop when people will 'do without' fancy photographers lol.0 -
So you're about to lose your house but you can still afford to pay for a !!!!!! haircut! :rolleyes:0

2nd half tomorrow night.
The quick-sale guy was good at evading answers. He's stuck now because the mortgage deals aren't available and some of his fixed rates are ending and the mortgages are costing more than the rental income.
The sad thing was the stressed out Sheffield family who would have received better advice coming on here than from the interviewer.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
