K750i Cashback claim help please OSPS

Back in May i bought a K750i from One Stop Phone Shop, now it is about this time for the 1st cashback claim, so got a few questions :-)

When do i claim, is it 4 months after connection OR on receipt of the 4th bill.

On the email confirmation from osps i have an order reference and customer number, on the invoice i have a transaction number now on the cashback claim form it asks for an order number, which one do i use.

On the cashback form it asks "gift claimed" do i just write "1 £70 M4" as per the invoice.

This is the first time i have claimed cashback on a mobile and would appreciate help, advice or anything which would help.

Cheers

Usually (I quote my February paperwork) it is 'the number of months connected NOT the number of invoices received from your network provider'. Also: 'Copy the first 2 pages of most recent airtime invoice...'
on the cashback claim form it asks for an order number, which one do i use.
On my form it is 'Account number'

    I do exactly this.

Use only recorded mail (at least) or special delivery. Geographical number is 01270 504400 - check that claim was received and is being processed.
  • Thanks very much for replying, some useful info there.
One more question is the connection date the same as the invoice date.

NO. I assume that my connection date is the date on the original papework from OSPS (27 Feb for me). My invoice date is 12th of each month.

My connection date for this offer is 23rd May, On the 23rd September I will be sending off my 4th bill from cpw/voda dated 6 September. My understanding is that the voucher becomes valid 4 months after connection and that they will accept bills up to 30 days prior to this or the next bill after. This has always worked for me in the past.
    I think....

I contacted OSPS in regards to this because I have the same phone but purchased it on 27th May and my billing cycle runs from the 7th of the month to the 8th of the month. They advised me to send in the most recent invoice that you have when you have been connected for exactly 4 months, so this would be the invoice I received dated 7th September and this should be posted on 27th September by recorded delivery, if you don't send it by recorded delivery I can assure you that it will get lost in the post.
  • Does any one have any experience of how long it takes to process the cashback claim?

I sent mine on 8th August by recorded delivery and it was received (according to the Royal Mail website) on 9th. I have phoned them today and they said it is not on the system and I should send a proof of signiture on delivery (which cost £2.20 from Royal Mail).

I am reluctant to do this. Is it worth waiting a bit longer? I read on the terms and conditions that claims should be sent within 21 days.

    Can any one help?
  • I sent off my claims on 18 Aug by recorded delivery and according to RoyalMail website it was received on 19 Aug.
A week later, I phoned OSPS to check the status but they said it's not received according to their system.
So I phoned again after another 2 days, this time a different CS confirmed my claim is received on 19 Aug but still under processing.

My advice is to call them again and hopefully a more experienced CS will give you the right information.
BTW - they claim to have a backlog, so will take longer than 21 days.
