I am one of the hapless gits who bought a Lexmark. Cartridges hideously expensive, even the non-brand compatible ones. I am seriously considering ditching it and getting a cheaper one.
I don't print much in colour, mainly text, so there's bound to be a better deal for me somewhere...Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
The Canon IP range is unbeatable.
Price, Performance, colour reproduction, features, it wins hands down. Doing design print jobs, I almost always print proofs off on my canon, they are superb. I've been through just about every other make printer in my search for these.DONE: Great North Run 09! Raised £452 for the National Autistic Society

I have to agree, at the time I had the last two Canon printers, they were very slick and the print quality was better than anything else on the market for the same money. That said, I cannot ignore the fact that Canon were so unhelpful when both printers failed early - I could not recommend them anymore.
The R300 has been great so far, much better than earlier Epson models, and the photo prints are absolutely superb.0 -
