To get a photo from a movie (Print Screen doesn't work!), use a program called VirtualDub, dump the movie to disk as bitmap images and edit the one you want. You'll be left with loadsa pictures, but once you have the one you need, you can delete the rest!
VirtualDub also allows you to do many more things with movies such as convert them, repair them, etc etc. It will not work with WMV files because Microsoft were bring spiteful! The author was forced to remove WMV compatibility!
As for editing photos, I find Photoshop to be the very best! Ok, it costs a lot, but I'm sure you can find it somewhere

Thanks,
I used to have that problem all the time, so many pics that never got printed out and never made it into Albums.
If u have an Epson Printer there is a little piece of software that came on the instalation disk called Photoquicker that produces perfect 6x4 results everytime! Can also do simple editing and correction.
Hope that helps.0 -
Corel Photopaint allows you to manipulate any photo then copy it to Corel Draw and you can put as much text or whatever you want on top of the photo. very professional and maybe bit hard to use but Corel offers a Free Trial Download for thirty days and if you like it - go to the "glasgow Barras"!!0

All I did was to open Microsoft Photo Editor and then get my picky
and chose Image resize and made a note of the size of the original
picture, then chose edit copy.
This is exactly the effect I have just paid a print shop a fortune for.
Can anyone advise me on how to get hold of Microsoft Photo Editor for free. If it is on the Microsoft Office Master disk my ex took this along with the plasma tv, sofa and freezer when he moved out
Thanks

Is there any good freeware outthere you might know of ?
For free software, advice and podcasts (audio programs you can donwload to your PC or MP3 player, you DO NOT NEED an iPod and the software is free!)
try here:

Also Yahoo photos offer unlimmit upload space for your pics. This is a free way of hosting large pic files for friend and fammily. The albums cab be private or public.
Blogger is another good free site and Picasa will load files here. Blogger is also owned by Google. If you want free space for photos on eBay use photobucket (for a good HTML editor also free use Mozilla Composer)Seth.0
