Amazing photo editing and indexing program - google-picasa (merged)

I am not in the habit of reccomending software particularily the freebies but I have been using the Picassa program and am frankly astounded.

Get it HERE!

If you have, like me, a large amount of photos stored somewhere on your system the you need this program.

It is soooo easy to use, has a HUGE number of tricks up it's sleeve and catalogues ALL of the photos and allows you to change them, make a movie (Slideshow) that can be put onto CD and loads more.

I have checked it for Adware and Spyware and it's clean.

go ahead and install - you won't be sorry.

Riz

Picassa 2 is great & FREE!

I have Paint Shop Pro & it definitely beats it on certain aspects ..

Soft Focus & other effects, Collage, Contact Sheet & instant emailing.

  • Hello.com is from the same company, basically a text chat programme where you can share photographs whilst you chat.
It shows you when your `friends` are online, any picture you put on screen appears on your friends screen too.

You can set it up so the picture downloads onto your hard drive in the background, ideal as you end up with the full sized pic, as opposed to a shrunk down version sent by email.

Worth a look and also FREE

I've got it and it is really good, it's owned by Google. It is very easy to use and hard to believe that it is free to download. :j

    Hi Mr skint.

You can put a caption to the photo but I think that what you will need is ULEAD Photo Impact which you seem to get free with a lot of hardware.

I use photoimpact 10 but version 7 is good and stable.

Ask some of your mates if you can try their copy out before buying it
