    It was a questionative statement.

It depends if they asked for a UK delivery address via email or ASQ, but the Paypal address was their Hungarian residence.

So I'm not on your ignore list then????

Nah mate , that was just a bad day;)

... you are all trying to help but without any details given by kw03cd we can only guess whether it was actually paid for

I've not been paid yet. I am unsure as I have heard of so many people claiming that they have not received parcels and getting paypal refunds. I know you don't have a lot of safeguards with ebay but the buyer address is where I would usually post the item.

No , it`s really very very simple , the OP said they only wanted to post to the UK and the buyer has gone with that requirment , for the lack of further knowledge from the OP i cant see the problem...

Just to add to this becoming an even more bizarre thread...

If buyer is a user in Hungary and the correct buyer requirements are ticked then they wouldn't be able to bid, whether or not they had a UK address, they'd have to contact the seller first to be added to the 'buyer requirements exemption' list.

Just to confirm address needs to be confirmed UK address with Paypal, failing that ask for a UK cheque or postal order payment then nothing can go wrong.

You can all carry on arguing now..........

I sold a sky box on ebay and stated UK delivery only. Same situation as the OP where bidder/buyer was registered in france but wanted to post to UK. Paid by paypal, showed as clear funds...... BEWARE!!!!!

Turns out stolen credit card and guess what, not covered by paypal as the address is non verified. The scammers id is maericb should anyone wish to see what scum is trawling ebay at the moment, he ripped another 2 people off.

Being paid is unfortunately not a guarantee that paypal will release/not reclaim the funds, just be carefull mate,

    Thanks RFW.

I just feel there is something odd about the whole thing. They didn't contact me prior to bidding and only replied when I told them that I would not send abroad. Then they have told me that they plan to pay by paypal tomorrow but why should they email saying that they will do on online transaction in 2 days?
