help with unknown icon in nokia 6610i

Hi,
Not sure if this the right place to post. but here goes,
Just recently I purchased the nokia 6610i, I was wondering if any one has on there front screen an icon of a little arrow with a telephone handset next to it , some times it appears and some times it doesnt, refered to the handbook but cannot see what this means.
Any help to solve this mystery would be appreciated.

is it like a house telephone or a mobile telephone?
you sure its not a G
does it say anything else on the screen at the same time? like read or delete or options

If its when its ringing its telling you you are getting a diverted call.

When my boss diverts his phone to me i get a icon like this when I receive his diverted calls
