    I funded via Barclays Debit card, so i doubt I'm protected?

    It couldn't hurt to ask Barclays if you haven't yet, but normally banks don't consider chargebacks on debit cards. There is one bank that does... but I don't remember which it is.
    My TV is broken! :cry:
    Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

    Barclays are supposed to be the best vis a vis debit cards so you might be in luck. Unless of course they have been stung that many times by PayPal fraud.

    When I first started a PayPal acccount I registered a debit card but a friend said that was not a good idea and to use a credit card.

    So I added a credit card and deleted the debit card soon after.

    With a credit card you get fraud protection well at least better than a debit card.
