exactly if its an ikea brand and they change the products every year or so then they would know that you brought it froman ikea store and not argos.
write to their head office and state that you spend hundreds of pounds their every year , but after their poor customer service you wont be shopping there and you will be sending your story to the sun newspaper !!!!0 -
She won't be able to prove her purchase of the lamp without a receipt, as she said that she bought a number of other items, totalling around £100, so a card statement wouldn't be sufficient.
I've done exactly this before. Bought multiple items (in one transaction) on my card, had a problem with one item, mislaid the receipt. I took the item back to the shop, gave them my card number and it took them 5 or 10 minutes to find my purchase on their system. Once they found my details, they happily exchanged the item for me.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
