I wanna make my lawn green!

Hi! I've never done any gardening in my life but have just cut the grass for the first time at our house and it was very weedy and yellow! What is the best product to get which can make it look nice quickly and easily which won't break the bank! Thanks a lot to anyone who can help in advance!

Wee is good for lawns, and it does not smell.
My daughter has wee in the lounge and that is on the carpet and does not smell! It's spelt differently though???
