It is true that they can't pay or recieve interest.

It's not just a Muslim thing, the Bible sanctions against usury too, both Old and New Testament, so those of the Jewish and Christian faiths shouldn't be doing it either.

Hilarious. However I somehow think you are only saying this in response to what others have said about your post. Why on earth would you feel the urge to "joke" about something so offensive and blatently racist?

im not racist i have mixed race friends and polish friends so no don't get mistaken.

Oh well that proves it, you can't be a racist.

How many times have the BNP used that old line "I have *insert race here* friends so I can't be racist"??

What is racist about a comment about religion? No one mentioned a person's race. In fact the Muslims themselves will tell you that - their religion is for everyone everywhere, they say, no particular race.

Religionist then. It is still pretty disgusting.
    Most certainly islamophobic and unacceptable.

I don't think anyone should be picking at LillyJ for using incorrect terminology (and using racism to refer to religion as opposed to country of origin is a very common mistake). It does not change the fact that the OP made a blatantly bigoted comment.

I didn't read any 'picking at' in margeretclare's post, it seemed unemotive, informative and factually correct to me.
