I have just had a phone call from "LADY REBECCA" @ Lucozade

Got lots of information to pass on to you all.....

Firstly.....

Don't bother entering for this weeks £5k as I have bribed her with copious amounts chocolate, booze and Virgin Vouchers

Secondly ...... BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING US!!!!

Ok.... so down to the facts!

I told her how we love the comp.... she loves this forum

She checks up on the thread daily to keep up to date with any technical issues any of us may be experiencing, so if I am honest.... pointless emailing them with problems, when you might as well just post it here and they will address them asap

The rank order for the league may change even if you share the same score as someone else - this is just a random thing, and nothing to worry about - nothing dodgy is going on. If however, at the end of the week, more than one person shares the same score - they then go on milliseconds - where the fastest entry will win.

Cheats will not prosper They have ways and means to tell.... So it is a good job I am Cornish and have 6 fingers on each hand :rotfl::rolleyes::D

Disappearing avatars - because they DO check for dodgy sign in details ( this may also have effected rank positioning I suppose as they delete such accounts ) thus resulting in a higher rank positioning for some.

We should get an email when the Widget is due for download :T sometime next week!

It is one entry per person. Not per household. So dogs ARE allowed as long as they have a valid bank account :rotfl:...... Names..... post codes etc are checked to make sure that the details are correct and really do exist! So it is no good signing up your dead uncles grandmothers cousin twice removed

Also.... and I think this is the best bit......

One last thing Lady Rebecca stated on the phone was that if for any reason you should miss entering one of the weekly challenges.... i.e you are away on holiday, or in hospital, or having a week long sh@g fest...... you will be able to go back and enter your answers for that week anytime during the competition period :T

I am sure this will be helpful to most, and it takes the pressure off somewhat. We do not have to be chained to our pc's or laptops like we were with the Virgin Big Snap Competition.

I think I have covered pretty much everything I can remember off the top of my head, will edit and update this post if I should think of something which was said.

So lets all join in by welcoming Lady Rebecca in to our cozy forum and hopefully we can coax her in to joining up and posting updates on the board. I think she thinks we might lynch her :rotfl:

I also thanked her from all of us for such a great comp, so feel free to thank her also as feedback is always good for them :rolleyes:

p.p.p.s - They are working at taking off the "opens at midnight" bit..... she explained her servers run an hour behind not on GMT - they were going to change it so it stated 1am..... but then thought easier to take it off altogether

All the winners so far seem to be in the top 300 scores???? Perhaps they are feeling sorry for the no-brainers:rotfl: so will make sure Martin's scores does not exceed that
