Dear Miss ....

On behalf of Lucozade Alert, thank you for taking the time to write into us. As you have seen we experienced a database error last night, the consequence of which was the wrong answer - ravine - being displayed on the winners' page of the Alert Challenge website.

We identified the error this morning and have been working to correct it, as well as to redraw a winner from yesterday's prize draw from all those entrants who gave the correct answer of 'base'. The reason you have seen incorrect and correct answers briefly displayed against the winners is because the fixes we were making were prematurely pushed live, but were retracted as soon as we realised this was not a correct fix.

The correct winner of yesterday's daily prize draw will be announced shortly, on the website and we will also be honoring the prize awarded to the incorrectly picked winner from yesterday.

Our intention is and always has been to provide a fair and enjoyable series of prize draws and competitions for people to take part in over the next 12 weeks. We appreciate there have been some initial teething troubles, but can assure you that these were in no way deliberate and we are constantly monitoring the site to ensure future issues do not arise.

my screen aint showing the leagues, the pic of avatars doesnt show? xx

also you cannot access any leagues from the drop down menu - it is not "dropping down" lol

ok... so it is dropping down now lol..... but no data of peoples stats etc for the challenge as a whole, but i can access our league stats which now show me as 4th??? I was 2nd this morning lmao!
