OH bought his season ticket (£2,980) on my interest free CC so used £1,500 of the cash to go as an OP. The rest has gone into Egg savings because I need to be certain that we can pay it back when the 0% finishes in June 09.
ETA: Now I'm thinking I should have put it all into OP and then put the money by when the OH gets his bonus.0 -
Couldn't resist the urge and paid another £1,400 off. If I come unstuck (I don't think I will) then I'll just use money from my ISA.0

From what I've read on the site, paying money off your mortgage is roughly the same value as investing in an ISA - so you sound like you're going for a good return with little risk (not that I think you should plunder your ISA if you can avoid it).0 -
Well Done:T:T:T:T0

The OH has finally sold his car :j :j :j . Well we have been given a deposit and the chap will be back tomorrow with the cash and to collect. I am so pleased I was beginning to think it wouldn't sell. I'm looking forward to paying it off the mortgage
