  • hi,

i had a similiar experience, applied, didn't hear from them for 2 weeks, rang them up and they said the DOB on the application form was different to the one I gave them (at security checks) and so the application couldn't be processed!

I thought if that's the level of service they provide I'm better off without them. I went to capital one and was accepted.

These guy's are queer, I applied a few months back and they said no, contact Experian, and they didn’t even do a credit search! Applied about two weeks ago and they still haven’t replied yet!

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Lenders should not be allowed to take into account how many searches you have had, this is unfair anyway how are people supposed to shop around for the best deal or even to see if they will get accepted, because I can assure everyone on this site no lender in this country will do a quotation search for you, maybe for a mortgage but nowt else, I know I have tried hence the 20 million searches on my Experian report, take this analogy, every time an employer looks at your CV should that make you less employable? No, neither should apply for credit, but I don’t make the rules so now I have had my whinge I am off to bed, night, night people.
