I assume its for any call outwith your package which would mean a daytime calls to an 01/02 would be subject to the 4p minimum call charge and mobiles or 0845/0870 etc during the evening and w/end?
Having said that I haven't studied the T&C's but they seem fairly standard with all the companies except 4p is cheaper than BT's 5p.
Personally I am going to stay with TalkTalk at the end of the month as I have several friends on TalkTalk and its worth it to me to have the free calls with them and will use 1899/18866/18185 for the rest of my calls.0 -
Thanks Edinburghlass, Its clearer now.
I am OK with mu current set up, i think I will stay put. I use 18866 for evening calls so I COULD save but it would not be much AND I'd have to set up a CPS preference on BT which I prefer not to do AND I'd have to re-programme the Orchid dialler (eeeeekkk!).
Thanks again, Stella xx0 -

I hope you are asking Talk Talk for an extention to your free calls .0 -
Did you ask for an extension ? and if so, what did they give you. I could only manage an extra three months. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Considering my average monthly bill to TalkTalk over a year has been 20p I don't think there is a hope in hell that they will be keen to offer me anything

I don't think mine has even been that!
When I said I was cancelling my contract they asked why and i said to join just dial, they then offered my a 6 month extension to my talktalk plan....sorted.0 -
The mention of Just Save has successfully extended my no-cost contract with TalkTalk for another 6 months.
Well done TalkTalk. So that's still four mobiles and two landlines with Carphonewarehouse.0 -
my last Talk Talk bill was a massive 15p and I still got a twelve month extention .0

get the option team . Tell them you are moving to a new providor (you decide which one ) .They can extend your free calls for 3 .6 or 12 months . They call it price match .
It seems to depends on
1 who you talk to in the option team
2 how convincing you are on the phone .
My parents ,brother ,sister and I all got a 12 month extention .My friend was refused as most of his calls where to mobiles but he was offered 30 minutes of free mobile calls for 3 months .Two weeks later he asked again and was offered the free calls for another 12 months . So he got 30 minutes of mobile calls for 3 months and free evening & weekend calls for another year ,not a bad deal .
.Some people on here have tried 3 times before they got an extention others like me got it first time .
Dont phone or email and Just ask for a new deal ,they will offer you free weekend calls if you do .You have to say you are moving .Tell then you prefer Talk Talk as your friends and family use Talk Talk .( a bit of bull can work wonders ) but it depends on a price match
Try to phone Talk Talk when you think they will be less busy and sound convincing .
Any chance of an extenson if one has routed 99% of ones calls through 18866 ??0 -
I got a six month extension to my Talk Talk deal & I use 18866 most of the time!0
