Not sure whether this is old news or new news - Coventry BS offering a 1 year fix to 31/5/09 at 6.00%. Unfortunately no transfers in.

Sending my application in today,they will transfer the money direct from another account so saves the loss of interest in transit,cheque clearing etc.So far can thoroughly recommend Coventry and up to today would have said ditto about Bradford and Bingley but they have just let me down and i am contemplating moving my money out.0
