Ok, what are all your bad Dell experiences - I haven't heard one statement of your own to back it up so far, yet you all love to grouse. Didn't think we ended the Dell issue... live on Dell. lol.0 -
wapow wrote:lol true to say that you'd do well with a console lol, but i find them obsolete in the fps genre, now that i've played PC Games. I was playing Doom 3 on the Xbox but i enjoyed the PC version alot better. I think im so used to the Pc for fps that, when i tried to play Hitman Contracts on my ps2, and in training you have to use your guns to aim at targets, i was useless at it! I would've had to spend an hour or so trying to get back that joypad feeling and get my aiming up to scratch but FarCry was calling my name so i left it and havn't touched it since.
Might get it on PC loll
Has anyone ever thought about an Intel dual core/AMD? Great for the ultimate gaming experience. Bit pricey atm though.0 -

lol, yeah, I had that game - my bro got it from a work mate. There where a few others too - like wiggle the joy stick as much as you can for a shag orgasm meter. Haha. :rotfl:0 -
Okay, I'll be honest, I've never had a Dell to own. But needless to say, everytime Im on a forum for gaming or pc Issues theres ALWAYS a thread going on about Dell Haters. (As Is this one LOL) I dont think I remember another company being slated so badly on the Internet! The main issues are bad components, remember TIME Computers anyone? Poor customer service and these are two very big Issues!
Go into google and type 'I hate Dell' 'Dell hater' 'I flushed my Dell down the crapper' lol, made them up, but I tried it in google and you get some funny people with some wacky things to say about Dell lol
But I always say there's no harm In trying, If you've never owned a custom built pc, or owned a pc of a different brand then maybe you'll never know what your'e missing, and vice versa on the Dell part! (Although i wouldn't want to spend a few hundred squids on a pc i know is gonna fail me one day after the warranty runs out, as if it knows when the warranty ends and when to conk out!)
loll Amiga was one for its wild games lol wiggle the joystick LOL got me own! (oops lol)
AMD 64, Dual Core Intels youre right a bit pricey give it a month or so then think about it lol0 -

It's not going to make any difference at the moment using a dual core CPU. There are no games written as yet to take advantage of them.
I built the boy a games machine. 1024MB RAM, AthlonXP 3200+ CPU and Geforce 6800 Ultra. With this setup, it walks all over any of the games out there at the moment in any resolution or setup. He's hardly touched any of his consoles since it was built. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Yeah, I mentioned about TIME and TINY somewhere. Urk, hellish things!
Joysticks - real ones, one thing that never seems to break down. what a pain! lol. I have a headache
Well, I like ya... yeah, lol, you hold a decent fair discussion at least.
Although dont diss Dell until you've tried one (like a bloke :rotfl:) coz you'll have people like myself to contend with!:p0 -

I didn't say get one now as I presumed you people would know that the software apps/drivers are still being designed/written. I was saying has anyone thought about one? Happy for you son though.0 -
Yeah i seem to like everyone on here all great people and very helpful and i liked having this discussion.
Although i still wouldn't try a Dell. Its like, let me give you an example, I know that if i buy X Phone then this phone isnt gonna last a day. So many people have tried this phone but it has failed them. I'd rather let everyone who asks me about it know, that its more than likely to fail you rather than impress you. So no point taking the risk. Get me jist? Kinda like a recommendation.
But its whatever tickles your fancy. I mean, its a bit like 3 Cutomer Services (Mobile Phones) I never seem to have a problem with them and they always get things done for me, but a million others absolutely hate their guts and they all have problems with the network THREE lol
Anyway thats me, but to all else try before you buy lol.0 -

Yeah, I know what you mean. Anyway, I'll let you all know if anything goes wrong with my Dells. Rather give out good advice than save face. Thanks for the discussion peeps. Bath time for me as I've been gardening (cutting laylandis with a hedge trimmer) BOSCH!!! Haha. Dunno about the new ones, but this old thing has lasted years. One word of advice, don't go near a BOSCH Jigsaw. lol. Miles away from the thread I know, just a light hearted comment to put yet another smile on your faces :rotfl:0
