Hi, we got married a couple of weeks ago and I saw this thread in the week running up to the wedding. We thought the Photo Challenge was a great idea, it was too late to do the cards on Vista Print so I just designed some cards myself and my brother in law printed them off for me on card. They were a great sucess at the wedding with the adults trying to join in too!! We had 3 children of between 4 and 11 and they absolutely loved it, we bought them each a goody bag as their prize afterwards. I would definately recommend this idea!! :T

we've made an activity pack for the 4 kids coming to our wedding, but full of stuff that cannot stain and won't make too much noise. I'm sure there's adults who will be bored during the speaches so i know the kids will be.

We've made goody bags for the children coming to the wedding breakfast, mainly because children eat so little... and eat it fast... We want their parents to enjoy their meals without worrying about little ones running around the room.... For the evening I've got packs of different papers and a load of crayons / felts and we're going to get some big games...

(I probably already posted this... Just ignore me... )

Krystaltips - can I ask what you've put in your activity packs?

I've offered to do these for my friend's wedding and she has 25 children coming! So any money saving tips would be great!

There are colouring books from the pound shop, sticker sheets, plastic dinosaurs for the boys, little jewelery sets for the girls... Flashing rubber balls and those balloons you blow up and let go of and they fly around the room making fart noises... We're getting another couple of packets of those (30 for a £1) for the evening guests... Just go down to the pound shops and if there's a home bargains shop etc near you... It's only got to entertain them for a day... glow sticks are good too for the evening children...

I love home bargains - got enough sweets for 6 party bags in there on Friday for 79p.

I was good I resisted the Thornton's chocolates - only because I had run out of cash at that point though :rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
