Morning everyone
I am back to work today after 8 weeks off:o
Not looking forward to it,especially considering the fact DD was up half the night being sick and I reckon I have had 4 hours sleep.
Typical as it is her birthday today and she is having a small party in the house.....she is still in bed as we speak.
Hope you all have a lovely day whatever you do

Morning Jinky
I was just wondering whether the time was ripe for a Daily Chat thread (but also pondering if it would be cheeky of me to start one) and there it popped up:T

morning everyone. I'm going to do some gardening
Well, I bought Amber some toy gardening things yesterday and I got some plants to stick in tubs. So, we're going to have a muddy day I think. I've got my garden all lit up with spot lights and outdoor parcans (the lampie in me) but it's really just a tiny courtyard so needs something flowery too. Amber has this inflatable hot tub out there which is fab for her, she's such a water baby and is in it all year, so it's really her space. I want to get some sort of gazebo though to cover it because it does get full of leaves and I'm forever fishing them out but I can't find anything in 2m x 2m so I might have to be creative and make a sail type thing like they have in habitat. They are £75 in habitat but I know I can make something with bamboo and some fabric much cheaper.:A

Oh, I was supposed to be working today, on the big weekend but I fluttered my eyelashes at hubby last night who has dep-ed his gig and is on mine instead. So he is my hero today because I really didn't feel like working today with this bloody tooth which is still killing me.:A

Hello boys and girls...I am back to work today after 8 weeks off:o

And Happy Birthday to her. _party_ :bdaycake:morning guys! I have a headache - but no reason why. I am hoping it goes soon, as I have clients to see......
Have you taken tablets? Or are you just hoping it goes away? :grouphug:

I've had a look at those Z and they do look a bit flimsy in the flesh. I need something that can withstand a bit of wind. The courtyard is tiny but is walled so I thought I would make use of the solid walls and use some thick 2" bamboo to construct something. I'll go to a company we use who provide props for stages who have some sail type fabric and create something like this:A

Already checked on the patio bag spuds nad they are doing well, now down to 7 cucumbers, the rest have died back for some reason.
About to clean the house, the cats already have clean blankets and are scowling at me, as much to say bad mummy giving is clean blankets, we like the old smelly ones!!!

Did you enjoy your curry & beer last night then?
I had a bottle of pink fizz but didn't open it! probably will today though.
