IceSave not accepting partial transfers out

I know that providers are certainly allowed to bar partial transfers out but surely they would need to tell you this explictly in their T&Cs as it is at variance with what you might expect given that HMRC allow this.
I can't argue that they should let me do a partial transfer but I think I can argue that they should tell me that I can't in their terms and not just when I want to do the transfer and the money is trapped there. If they don't tell me then I think they should allow it until they make this clear.0 -
Just spoke to the financial ombudsman advice line and their view is that this should be in terms and conditions too.0
