paypal £1700 limit

Hi all,
havent been here in a while.
Anyway some anti money laundering thing on paypal has popped up.
When i did the phone thing, when i typed the code that paypal gave me into the phone, my keypad was playing up.
Paypal are now sending me a letter with a 6 digit code on.
I did this on 29th april, so i am still waiting until wednesday for the 2 weeks to pass fully. I am still worried though, i have heard of these letters not arriving with the code on.
I am now passed my £1700 limit, and had 2 withdrawals reversed - after i sent the goods off. These are totalling just over £200.
So basically just wondering if any1 else has had to do this? And how long it took to get the letter.
This is the only remaining thing to do in the rersolution centre, so if/when the letter comes and i put in the code, will my paypal be backl to normal?
Thanks all

When you get the letter, if you verify properly (i.e. put the code in, and have done the other stages), your should go back to normal (though for a definitive answer, I'd ask PayPal). Anything that's been reversed won't be automatically sorted out though, you'll need to chase that up on your own.

It's definitely worth getting in touch with them to ask after the letter though, these things do go wrong occasionally...

Had this email a few days ago. Completed the required details and my account is now 'In Review' in the resolution center.

dwh - all other things are done. the reversals were only becuase i had gone over the 1700 limit, and paypal didnt realise until a few hours later, i think.

hustle - can you keep me updated and let me know when your account is back to normal, and how long it took please? gotta lot of stock i need to sell, and quite fast.
am using my friends paypal at the moment, but cant use it too much or hell have to do the same as me!

    thanks anyway both of you

Oooooo. Is this likely to happen to my account too? I haven't had it for very long. I did do some verification which lifted initial withdrawal limits when I first opened it. Can I expect another limit to be imposed further down the line?

Ive had this a few months ago, i phoned them up & they helped me verify the account & how to set it up properly. Its ok dont worry, then they will tell you when the letter will be despatched. Your account will operate as normal, the only restriction is that you cant close your account. I think there are 3 verification steps you have to do, private, business & the code from the letter.

My account is still In Review. It started on the 4th May and is now the 10th. Luckily, I haven't hit the £1700 mark yet, so I have no restrictions on my account.

A note to others, this can be avoided before they limit your account by providing Business Information and becoming verified as soon as you open the account or asap.
