Confused now. kat9848 says he/she got unwittingly charged £4.99. Arch Angel says there's a tick box at the bottom of the page next to proceed. So when I saw this tickbox, next to a proceed button, at the end of my application, I considered it to be what has been discussed. Is this wrong? If so, I can go back and complete it. :T
kat9848 seems to be confused on two fronts...

    1. This thread is about Equifax and he/she is talking about an Experian product, and

    2. He/she must have ticked the 'get my score' radio button. I'm very familiar with the CreditExpert product and it's the only way you'll [strike]waste[/strike] spend £4.99.

So, yes. Go back and apply for the product, but read everything on screen - including 'how to cancel'.
